VIDEO: Ankita Lokhande PRAYS At Ajmer Sharif For The SUCCESS Of Manikarnika

Sheer powerhouse of talent, TV hottie Ankita Lokhande is making her Bollywood debut with Zee Studios’ Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The movie is a historical biopic on the legendary Rani Laxmibai.  


The Pavitra Rishta actress paid a visit to the Ajmer Sharif Dargah this morning, to seek divine blessings ahead of the release of her film. Ankita plays the character of Jhalkari Bai in the movie.


She looked simple yet stunning in a white suit and deep red coloured dupatta.



Talking about the visit, she said, “I have come here for the third time. Every time I have asked for something here, my wish has been fulfilled. This time I’m here to pray for my film Manikarnika, where I play the character of Jhalkari Bai. I was shooting in Jodhpur, and nothing in the world could stop me from visiting Garib Nawaz this time. I pray that Manikarnika is  a superhit.”

The gorgeous looking girl is currently honing her skills to perform sword fighting, horse-riding and action sequences in her debut flick.

Ankita will portray the character of Jhalkaribai, who was a close friend of Laxmibai.
